Fees current as of 1st March 2010 for eligible Medicare card holders:

For the first IVF treatment the full price is $6,546.00  - but with the medicare rebate of $2,499 and the extra safety net rebate of $1,550, the range of out of pocket expenses is between $1,662 - $2,788.

While a second treatment is the same for full care ($6,546), the extra safety net rebate is higher, so the out of pocket expense is between  $1,151.00 - $2,277.00.

Other common treatments include ICSI $6,894, a total expense of $1,674.00 - $2,800.00 after the rebates.
